IAM Healed

ISAIAH 53:5 NLT But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

Before we have a relationship with Jesus, all lives are the same: rebellious, sinful and incomplete. I was desperate for change and healing. By God’s grace, I submitted my life to Jesus. As I gave my whole life to Jesus, I knew that I needed to be healed. I had wounds and scars from sin. I was angry, defensive, moody, selfish and incomplete in my ability to truly love others.

I take up my new identity in Christ today and everyday: I am healed because of Jesus’ suffering. Jesus experienced crushing pain and whipping for us. He loved us so much that he endured beatings to set us free and heal us.

My identity as a healed being is rooted in the power of Jesus’ love.
I must throw out all doubts about the ability to willingness of God to heal me.
When our thoughts betray us, we lose power in our prayers.

Friend: When you ask “Is it possible to be healed?”
The answer “Yes, I know it’s possible, because of Jesus love for me! He suffered for me!”
God loves you so much! Do you now that? Do you believe it?

Always around Christmas-time we have images of a newborn Jesus. The savior of the world was born in a barn. He was born into this world with a destiny of suffering. But that suffering was for our sins. One of the wise men’s gifts was Myrrh. Myrrh is the oil that is used to anoint a dead body before burial. It is offered as a prophecy of the way he would die. Imagine if you had a baby shower and you received a certificate for cremation or burial plot? I would throw that person out of the party!

Jesus had a destiny to save and heal the world through his suffering and death.
You have a destiny as a healed and redeemed being.

Friend! Claim the miraculous power for your deep inner healing because of Jesus.

Let’s proclaim the Truth
IAM Destined for an amazing life
IAM Loved by Jesus
IAM Cleansed from my sins
IAM Made whole, no longer incomplete
IAM Healed through Jesus’ suffering

“Jesus Paid It All”
I hear the Savior say,
Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
and melt the heart of stone.

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
Jesus died my soul to save,
my lips shall still repeat

O Praise the one who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead

IAM Created with a Design

EPHESIANS 4:24 NLT Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

God created you with a purpose and a design. God had blueprints for your mind, heart, personality, gifts and passions. The wonderful creator chose himself as the design. Our original purpose and destiny always started with God’s image.

Gods-Blueprint

Let’s make a list of all the amazing things the bible speaks about our God:
I found a list of scriptures and descriptions. The bible gives us 101 characters of God.
Some of my favorites from the list: Love, The Beginning and the End, Infinite, All powerful, Mighty to Save.

The ability and raw building blocks to transform into someone like God lives inside of you. God placed it inside of you from the beginning. You inherited God’s spiritual DNA! The list of 101 attributes of God seems overwhelming at first. I want to encourage you to start with a simple prayer and desire: “God, make me more like you.”

We don’t have to focus on all the things we haven’t experienced life transformation yet. Focus on where you want to go, and our God who get’s us there. Don’t allow the negative thoughts, doubts and lies to take over your thoughts. Do not allow thoughts of condemnation or guilt to take hold in your life. The distance between our current state and our glorified state seems daunting. Jesus bridges that gap for us.

The wonderful journey of taking on a new nature awaits you. Jesus lives inside of you. He makes a home in your heart. The Holy Spirit performs spiritual surgery inside of you. Today, ask God to make you better than you are in one small way. The new life you have inside of you allows you to love, care, minister and listen more. You may even surprise yourself with your new found nature.

Amazing journey

Title: Wonderful Maker – Chris Tomlin Cover (Daniel Choo)
Owner: Daniel Choo

You spread out the skies over empty space
Said “let there be light”
Into a dark and formless world Your light
Was born

You spread out Your arms over empty hearts
Said “let there be light”
Into a dark and hopeless world Your Son
Was born

Pre-Chorus:
You made the world and saw that it was good
You sent Your only son for You are good

Chorus:
What a wonderful Maker
What a wonderful Saviour
How majestic Your whispers
And how humble Your love
With a strength like no other
And the heart of a Father
How majestic Your whispers
What a wonderful God

No eye has fully seen, how beautiful the cross
And we have only heard
The faintest whispers of how great You are

IAM Given a Gift

EPH 2:8-10 NLT God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Friends, the wonderful gift of salvation and life is the greatest gift that we could ever receive.  It’s there waiting for all of us.  We are the recipients of the gift.  The greatness is in the gift and the gift giver.  We did not deserve it or earn it, but God graciously gives it to us.  Today, I want to encourage you to keep a proper perspective.  Not to lower ourselves and consider ourselves worthless.  Because God loves us so much, and that fact of being loved by God makes our idenity powerful.  There is no boasting in being given a gift by the skin of our teeth.  I hope there is a feeling of gratitude and thankfulness for the amazing grace we have received.

God saw something and planned something amazing for your life, long long ago.  That the amazing story of redemption is being written now as we speak.  That amazing story is resulting in a masterpiece that God is forming everyday.  The masterpiece that God is making out of your life is not meant to be sitting on the wall of a museum behind security glass.  God had a plan for you to do good things with that masterpiece.

Let’s put down God’s Plan
1. He gave us the gift salvation because He loved us.
2. That gift of salvation working in us makes us an amazing masterpiece
3. The story and power of redemption of your life transformation into a masterpiece is a good good work for others to see.  For you to testify with your life, the amazing grace God offers to all man.

That’s the generic version:  allow God to form you, and mold you into the masterpiece he sees for your life.
Be a living testimony that God’s amazing grace is a gift that everyone is worthy to receive.
Encourage others to grow in their self worth because of the value of the gift and gift giver
Let God give you his heart for a specific purpose, passion or calling.
Keep on being awesome because our God is awesome!

Listening to You Opened Up My Eyes by Martyn Layzell #nowplaying http://grooveshark.com/s/You+Opened+Up+My+Eyes/4zDpia?src=5

Let’s celebrate the fact that we we were once dead, but now we’re alive!

Martyn Layzell : You Opened Up My Eyes

Not by words and not by deeds. But by grace we have been saved
And it is the gift of God, the faith we need
Not by strength and not by might. But with power from on high
So that we can only boast, boast in You

For once I was dead, now I’m alive. For freedom I’m set free
And in Your great love, life do I find. You opened up my eyes
Not with eloquence or fame. But with weakness and in shame
For the power of Your strength. Is then revealed
And the message of Your cross. Seemed such foolishness to some
But the mercy of Your grace is hidden there

What mercy, what mercy, what mercy beneath Your cross
Your mercy, Your mercy, Your mercy beneath Your cross
