IAM Healed

ISAIAH 53:5 NLT But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

Before we have a relationship with Jesus, all lives are the same: rebellious, sinful and incomplete. I was desperate for change and healing. By God’s grace, I submitted my life to Jesus. As I gave my whole life to Jesus, I knew that I needed to be healed. I had wounds and scars from sin. I was angry, defensive, moody, selfish and incomplete in my ability to truly love others.

I take up my new identity in Christ today and everyday: I am healed because of Jesus’ suffering. Jesus experienced crushing pain and whipping for us. He loved us so much that he endured beatings to set us free and heal us.

My identity as a healed being is rooted in the power of Jesus’ love.
I must throw out all doubts about the ability to willingness of God to heal me.
When our thoughts betray us, we lose power in our prayers.

Friend: When you ask “Is it possible to be healed?”
The answer “Yes, I know it’s possible, because of Jesus love for me! He suffered for me!”
God loves you so much! Do you now that? Do you believe it?

Always around Christmas-time we have images of a newborn Jesus. The savior of the world was born in a barn. He was born into this world with a destiny of suffering. But that suffering was for our sins. One of the wise men’s gifts was Myrrh. Myrrh is the oil that is used to anoint a dead body before burial. It is offered as a prophecy of the way he would die. Imagine if you had a baby shower and you received a certificate for cremation or burial plot? I would throw that person out of the party!

Jesus had a destiny to save and heal the world through his suffering and death.
You have a destiny as a healed and redeemed being.

Friend! Claim the miraculous power for your deep inner healing because of Jesus.

Let’s proclaim the Truth
IAM Destined for an amazing life
IAM Loved by Jesus
IAM Cleansed from my sins
IAM Made whole, no longer incomplete
IAM Healed through Jesus’ suffering

“Jesus Paid It All”
I hear the Savior say,
Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
and melt the heart of stone.

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
Jesus died my soul to save,
my lips shall still repeat

O Praise the one who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead

IAM Saved by Grace

Colossians 1:6 This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.

Webster’s Ninth Collegiate Dictionary puts as its first definition of grace, “unmerited divine assistance given man for his regeneration or sanctification.”

grace blog

We must understand the facts of God’s Grace. No action of our own makes us worthy of God’s Grace. I want to encourage you to stop trying to bridge the gap with your efforts. Shield your mind and heart with the thoughts of trying to earn God’s grace. God gives grace because of his Love for us. Jesus paid it all when he died on the cross for us.

None of us deserved it. Yet God poured it out for us. That’s the good news that saved us. God saved you by his grace from your collision course with destruction. Every man and woman who does not have a relationship with Christ takes the same path, until they choose to fall on God’s grace for their life.

Do you remember the day your heart and mind finally understood God’s grace? That was the day when our Divine God started the regeneration process inside of you. Allow God’s amazing grace to change and transform you.

“Raised To Life” by Elevation Worship

Precious compassion that pours
From the wounds that have won our salvation
Sin was strong but the Savior is stronger
Come let us worship Him

Great was the debt that we owed
And how high was the price of our healing
Paid in full by the One who is worthy
Come let us worship Him

Raised to life with Christ the Savior
In His name a new creation
Now our song will rise
Adoring Christ the Lord

Death overcome by the Word
That was spoken before it was finished
Jesus Saves is our song everlasting
Come let us worship Him

Raised to life with Christ the Savior
In His name a new creation
Now our song will rise
Adoring Christ the Lord

Sin was strong
But Jesus is stronger
Our shame was great
But Jesus You’re greater

Jesus You’re greater

Raised to life with Christ the Savior
In His name a new creation
Now our song will rise
Adoring Christ the Lord

Sin was strong
But Jesus is stronger
Our shame was great
But Jesus You’re greater

IAM Weak

2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now, I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

At first, it doesn’t sound powerful to admit that we are weak.  It may even sound a bit negative, but there are times in life when brute force hard work it’s going to cut it.

There are going to be times when the counter cultural approach of taking a step back, and admitting that there is nothing we can do, except fall on God’s grace is the most powerful solution.

There are many powers in this world, but there is only one Power of Christ.  I know in order to accomplish and see all the things that I truly desire in this life, the only chance I have is through the power of Jesus.  The way Jesus loved, healed, and spent time with people is the world’s greatest power.

It’s not about perfect skills learned in school or training class.

My close friend John says to me constantly “The greatest miracle is the changing of someone’s soul and the transformation of their mind.”   And I believe it.  I have zero power to do that on my own.

So I can boast gladly about this one face:  In my own power, I am nothing.  I am an amateur among amateur.  With Jesus, I am nothing.

That’s the time when I lift my hands surrender and say, God, I need your grace to take over my weakness.  Then I am ready to let the power of Christ work through me.

The way of the world is to puff up our chest, and act like everything is ok.

The way of Jesus is to start off the day by saying: Jesus!  Your grace is sufficient for me.

I am Nothing without Jesus!  IAM powerless without God.

At first it doesn’t make sense, to run towards the things we are least confident in. Run towards the situations that will make us look weak!

But that’s where the true victory is!

IAM Forgiven MUCH

LUKE 7:47-50 NLT “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.”  Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.” The men at the table said among themselves, “Who is this man, that he goes around forgiving sins?” And Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

I am not perfect by any means.  Far far far from it.  The joy and love that I feel when I think about the horrible things I have done and said, that have been forgiven is amazing.  I know that I have been forgiven much.  Because of that knowledge, I can only love others and my God with much love as well.

We have an opportunity to come to the savior, and fall on our knees and say, “God, I can’t do this on my own.   My own willpower is not enough!  Please forgive me, and give me strength to love you and honor you!”

God willingly forgives us and loves us.  I believe we also need to forgive ourselves.  Yes, there is a battle going on inside your heart and mind everyday.  We have won the victory already through Jesus, but we need to embrace that truth and power daily.

I want to encourage you to respond in love to God because of the amazing forgiveness we receive.  Also to respond in power because of your Faith in God has saved you.  Power & Love: both important for you daily victory!

I love what Jesus says to the woman: Go in peace.

Peace is having zero turmoil.  Zero unrest, zero doubts!

True peace is knowing, where you stand in Love.

IAM Given a Gift

EPH 2:8-10 NLT God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Friends, the wonderful gift of salvation and life is the greatest gift that we could ever receive.  It’s there waiting for all of us.  We are the recipients of the gift.  The greatness is in the gift and the gift giver.  We did not deserve it or earn it, but God graciously gives it to us.  Today, I want to encourage you to keep a proper perspective.  Not to lower ourselves and consider ourselves worthless.  Because God loves us so much, and that fact of being loved by God makes our idenity powerful.  There is no boasting in being given a gift by the skin of our teeth.  I hope there is a feeling of gratitude and thankfulness for the amazing grace we have received.

God saw something and planned something amazing for your life, long long ago.  That the amazing story of redemption is being written now as we speak.  That amazing story is resulting in a masterpiece that God is forming everyday.  The masterpiece that God is making out of your life is not meant to be sitting on the wall of a museum behind security glass.  God had a plan for you to do good things with that masterpiece.

 keep-calm-cause-god-loves-you-15

Let’s put down God’s Plan
1. He gave us the gift salvation because He loved us.
2. That gift of salvation working in us makes us an amazing masterpiece
3. The story and power of redemption of your life transformation into a masterpiece is a good good work for others to see.  For you to testify with your life, the amazing grace God offers to all man.

That’s the generic version:  allow God to form you, and mold you into the masterpiece he sees for your life.
Be a living testimony that God’s amazing grace is a gift that everyone is worthy to receive.
Encourage others to grow in their self worth because of the value of the gift and gift giver
Let God give you his heart for a specific purpose, passion or calling.
Keep on being awesome because our God is awesome!

Listening to You Opened Up My Eyes by Martyn Layzell #nowplaying http://grooveshark.com/s/You+Opened+Up+My+Eyes/4zDpia?src=5

Let’s celebrate the fact that we we were once dead, but now we’re alive!

Martyn Layzell : You Opened Up My Eyes

Not by words and not by deeds. But by grace we have been saved
And it is the gift of God, the faith we need
Not by strength and not by might. But with power from on high
So that we can only boast, boast in You

For once I was dead, now I’m alive. For freedom I’m set free
And in Your great love, life do I find. You opened up my eyes
Not with eloquence or fame. But with weakness and in shame
For the power of Your strength. Is then revealed
And the message of Your cross. Seemed such foolishness to some
But the mercy of Your grace is hidden there

What mercy, what mercy, what mercy beneath Your cross
Your mercy, Your mercy, Your mercy beneath Your cross
